IJMSNS – The Israeli Journal of the Military, Society and National Security, meets the criteria set by The Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC) for inclusion in the list of journals that serve the budgeting model of the academic institutions in Israel.
IJMSNS – The Israeli Journal of the Military, Society and National Security is an academic journal, and as such will operate accordance to the principles and methods used in academic journals in Israel and around the world.
The Journal will enjoy complete academic freedom, as is customary in academic journals, and will publish articles that are of interest to both academic researchers and people in the field.
As a general rule, IJMSNS utilizes a double-blind peer review process. The articles are selected on the basis of academic quality and their relevance to the journal. Rrelevance includes (but is not limited to) the relation of the topic and its discussion to current discourse in the IDF today, with the aim of contributing to it and encouraging it. We hope that in doing, so the journal will make cutting-edge research and academic insights available to a wider audience, including laypersons, military personnel and the general public; beyond a purely academic audience.
